Money card!

It's that time of year again!
All the high school graduates start moving to college or getting a job, and the college graduates go broke trying:) LOL
Money is always appreciated, no matter the occasion, so a longer card that can hold bills is the perfect gift. I used my Graduation Cling set to glam up this card for a friend's son.

This set is on sale all week and I love all the possibilities it holds.
You should see the amazing samples that the DT came up with on the Denami blog!

Fresh Florals Blog Hop

Hey There! Welcome to the 18th stop on the May Denami Blog Hop:)
This month's theme is Fresh Florals. I hope you are inspired!

Did you arrive here from my girl Tenia's blog? She's the bomb-diggity, right?!
Okay, time for a secret. ..I created three of this card (in various colors and LOs) before settling on this one. And I'm still not satisfied, but we are our own worst critics aren't we? *sigh* I just wasn't "feeling" it if YKWIM.

Your next stop is HEIDI. And remember you increase your chances of winning one of two $20 gift certificates to the Denami store just by commenting on each participant's post!

Last day of sneak peeks

I realized late last night that my post for yesterday never posted, so I combined it with today's.
(I kept thinking "Jeepers, NO ONE likes my card?")
*chuckle*

The two sets we are showing sneaks of today are
ZIGS & ZAGS
and
HOUNDSTOOTH
You can see I used Houndstooth in the girly birthday card above, along with Rad and Truth Is. This set has three different sizes of houndstooth background strips and I love it!

You can see my use of Zigs&Zags here, and here (I used it last month by mistake so you all actually had a sneak, SNEAK peek:)

Now...
Yesterday's sneak was all about this incredible, creative, unique set called TECH TALK.
It is brilliant.  Funny, a touch off-color and very tongue-in-cheek. I LOVE it.
I am determined to combine it with WTF for a really "racy" card!  *giggle*
But seriously, who doesn't need an "undo" occasionally?!

So what do you think? Lots of great samples coming atcha this week on the blog, right? I'm so honored to be working with that talented bunch of ladies!
All sets will release on May 17 in the Casual Friday Stamps store.

Thanks for stopping by this week,
Don't forget to comment on all the sneak peek posts at the CFS blog for your chance to win!

Brickworks sneak peek!

Did you like the sneak peek samples by the Casual Friday Stamps Ink Squad yesterday? Some really cool stuff, huh?!

Well today is even better!!!
This new set is called BRICKWORKS and it will be available on May 17 in the CFS Store.
It's kinda the perfect masculine set for Fathers, Grads, and men in general.
I LOVE the two different brick background strips that come with coordinating outlines and solid bricks in each style. It really makes it a versatile set as you can see from my cards above.

Go check out all the amazing and eclectic samples on the blog today. You will be blown away at the creativity of some of the DT members:)

And don't forget, you get a chance to win a stamp set of your choice just for commenting on each post of sneak peeks this week!

Flower pot condolences

I needed a card for someone last week who was going through a rough time. Not necessarily a sympathy card, but also not a "thinking of you." This bouquet of flowers put into a flower pot, with the addition of the sentiment seemed like the perfect idea.

Supplies used:

As an added bonus, this garden bouquet is on sale all week at Denami for 10% off.
AND the DT is showcasing lots of gorgeous cards using it on the Denami blog today. Go check it out!

CARDS blog May challenge

Woohoo! It's Monday!
(I'm trying to be positive about  the dreaded Monday thing...bear with me:)

I'm playing along with the CARDS blog challenge today over at Create:
Here's the color graphic.

Such pretty, summery colors together, don't you agree?
I knew they would work well with my hibiscus stamps from Denami. And the gingham I stamped was just a bonus...I was thinking of being on a picnic blanket with a sweetheart amongst the sweet smelling flowers and imagining we were on a tropical beach somewhere...*happy sigh*
Oh sorry.
Where was I?
*ahem*

Supplies used:

Come play along with the May CARDS challenge and see what the prize might be!
*wink*

Pin-Spired

Welcome. How was your weekend?
I hosted another bridal shower for my best friend in Binghamton and we had a blast! Lots of laughter, good food, and great conversation.

Today I'm sharing a card I made based on this Pinterest pin that Paulina found.

Isn't that pillow cute?
I tried to focus on the multi colors all in rows. Very abstract, yet linear.

Don't forget to check out what a few other members of the DT did on the blog! You will be inspired for sure.
